The Somerset Cricket Museum

The Somerset Cricket Museum is housed in the Old Priory Barn, a remarkable Grade II* listed building. It’s the only surviving structure of the Augustinian Taunton Priory, originally founded around 1115—giving the museum an atmospheric backdrop steeped in nearly a millennium of history.

The museum itself officially opened to the public in April 1989, created by the Somerset Cricket Club and the Somerset Cricket Society to preserve and celebrate the county’s cricketing heritage.
