Longrun Meadow & French Weir Park

Longrun Meadow offers 24 hectares of open space crossed by a network of paths and trails for walkers and cyclists. There’s an orienteering course, facilities for canoeing and a chance to become involved in nature conservation, plus a spectacular green willow ‘cathedral’ and a magnificent open-sided barn that’s ideal for picnics. It also plays host to Taunton's Park Run.


French Weir Park is a small community park, covering 2.4 hectares. It covers an area beside the River Tone. As a neighbourhood park it’s enjoyed by all ages and acts as an attractive through route between residential areas, shops, schools and colleges.
