This is a biannual event in aid of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Families Association (SSAFA). This year we are pleased to have as our guests, Amici, Somerset’s Premier Chamber Choir.
Join us at Taunton Minster on Friday 31 October for SSAFA's Concert of Reflection and Joy, an uplifting evening of music performed by the Taunton Concert Band and this year we are pleased to have as our guests, Amici, Somerset’s Premier Chamber Choir.
The programme will take audiences on an emotional and inspiring journey, featuring William Walton's majestic Crown Imperial, the evocative Battle of Britain, highlights from the acclaimed musical Miss Saigon, and the beloved hymn Love Divine. The concert will also include C.H. Parry's moving There is an Old Belief, offering a moment of reflection and remembrance, before concluding with the powerful and triumphant Finlandia, bringing the evening to a stirring and memorable close. This special concert promises a blend of reflection, hope and celebration in support of SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity.
