The Snow Queen

Ballet Theatre UK presents a retelling of Hans Christian Andersen's classic fairy tale The Snow Queen. Featuring international dancers, costumes and stage sets, the production brings this much-loved story to life through ballet.
Join Ballet Theatre UK for a ballet adaptation of The Snow Queen, following the story of Gerda and her search for her friend Kay, who has fallen under the spell of the mysterious Snow Queen.
As Gerda travels across the frozen north, she encounters a cast of colourful characters including gypsies, enchanted reindeer and a mysterious Lapland woman. Her journey eventually leads her to the Snow Queen's Palace of Ice, where only her love for Kay can break the curse of eternal winter.
Performed by Ballet Theatre UK's company of international dancers, the production combines choreography, costumes and staging with a specially selected score to create a festive family performance.
