From the Rat Pack to Robbie Williams, The Story of Swing celebrates the timeless music of swing and big band jazz in an evening packed with classic hits, outstanding musicianship and unforgettable performances.
Presented by award-winning vocalist and world-class trumpet player Gareth John, and featuring the acclaimed SOS Big Band, The Story of Swing takes audiences on a musical journey through the golden age of swing and its continuing influence on modern music.
The show features beloved songs made famous by Bobby Darin, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Sammy Davis Jr, alongside favourites from contemporary stars including Michael Bublé, Robbie Williams, Matt Goss, Paul Anka and Harry Connick Jr.
Renowned for his exceptional showmanship and natural rapport with audiences, Gareth John brings passion and energy to every performance. Throughout his career he has shared the stage with artists including The Beautiful South and The Specials, earning a reputation as one of the UK's leading swing performers.
